Flowering in Spring
Purple Spray is a very showy plant with racemes of bright
purple, ‘pea’ like flowers in spring that totally cover the
plant. At other times, it is a very attractive garden shrub
with dark green leaves, featuring burgundy-tinged new
growth. Purple Spray has an upright habit that will also
climb onto surrounding supports with its twining stems.
