Mauve flower in spring and summer
Goddess is the perfect multi-purpose plant for a wide range of climatic conditions and
landscapes. Impart a tropical note to courtyards and paved outdoor living zones, either
planted in ground or in containers; the lush upright stems will fill a handsome large container
in semi-indoor positions, sheltered breezeways and lightly shaded outdoor settings; repeat
planting in matching containers will impart a strong landscape accent in a formal design.
Goddess is highly regarded as cut foliage for the floral market, and will last for extremely long
periods in water. Minimal trimming of older or damaged foliage will keep the plant looking its
best. Simply remove stems from the base with sharp secateurs. Mulch to maintain a cool root
system and minimize loss of moisture. Feed in autumn and spring with controlled release
fertilizer containing a medium level of phosphorus. If planting in containers, use premium
quality potting medium, keep lightly moist but not wet. Mulch surface with coarse river sand or
fine gravel.
