NATSPEC is a guide for assessing tree quality. It is a means to access the form, structure, inter-node, formation, caliper, stem taper, root development and height to root ball ratio of a tree grown in a container.
During the 2000 Olympics Andreasens embraced the Natspec standard and supplied conforming trees to the Homebush site. We have continued to apply this standard to our stock. It allows our customers to have confidence in our product and a benchmark by which they can judge all growers stock.
We have made every effort in educating our staff on the principles of this standard and promote the value of Natspec to our clients.
